Hello, and what this is for

I’ve wanted to start writing things down and sharing them for quite a while, but never really got around to doing it. I always had personal projects and fun little problems I solved that felt worth documenting (plus, having a link ready to share makes things so much easier whenever friends or coworkers ask how to set something up). Now I finally arranged things and set up this site to kick-start the idea.

So this is my little corner for that: notes, weird bugs, and hardware experiments.

What I expect to write about

Experiments. I build things that mostly work (some work on the first try, others take way longer than they should). An encrypted door lock controller, a bunch of sensors around the apartment, or whatever hardware idea I'm currently messing with. The failures are usually a lot more interesting to talk about than the things that worked immediately.

Things I learned the hard way. Those frustrating little details that seem completely invisible until you lose half a day to them. Connecting the wrong pins on an ESP32, builds that work fine locally but break mysteriously in CI, or quirky networking bugs. Spending ten minutes writing them down here will probably save future me (and hopefully someone else) hours of head-scratching.

Guides, but only when I have something useful to add. Nobody needs another word-for-word copy of official documentation; I'd rather focus on the tricky gotchas and practical steps that docs always assume you already know.

And occasionally, random stuff. Tech setups, games, or other things I happen to be enjoying outside of code.

What I’m not promising

A strict posting schedule. Articles will show up whenever I finish something fun or have enough spare time to actually sit down and write about it. If any of this catches your interest, you're more than welcome to follow along with the blog (there's also an RSS feed available if that's your thing).
